VOICES UNBROKEN
A national movement of Jewish Women reclaiming our voices.
They tried to silence us. But our voices only grew stronger.
Across Canada, Jewish and Allied women are reclaiming their voices; refusing to be erased, intimidated, or silenced.
Voices Unbroken is a national campaign by Canadian Women Against Antisemitism (CWAA), created in the wake of October 7, to give women the platform, courage, and community to speak out.
Every woman deserves to feel safe, heard, and protected, without fear of hate, ideology, or politics.
What is Voices Unbroken?
Voices Unbroken was born from a simple truth:
silence protects the abuser, never the survivor.
After October 7, Jewish women across Canada were met with denial, exclusion, and hostility - not just for being Jewish, but for daring to speak about the sexual violence and hate directed toward them.
This campaign exists so no woman ever has to whisper again.
It’s a space for Jewish and allied women to say, proudly and publicly:
“I am one of the Voices Unbroken.”

Why It Matters
Antisemitism in Canada is at record levels. In 2023, 67% of all religion-based hate crimes targeted Jews, even though Jews make up less than 1% of the population.
For Jewish women, this hate is compounded by misogyny.

Women have been harassed in workplaces, silenced in classrooms, and excluded from women’s spaces such as rape crisis centres.

Voices Unbroken challenges that culture of fear.
By sharing our stories, we are rewriting the narrative. One woman, one voice at a time.

Voices Unbroken is also part of CWAA’s policy advocacy.
We’re calling on all levels of government to ensure all publicly funded women’s services — rape crisis centres, shelters, and advocacy groups — remain apolitical and safe for Jewish women.
By sharing your story, you help show why these changes are urgently needed.
